Agate and garnet pendant, set in sterling silver

£240.00

This lovely pendant centred around an intricately patterned piece of agate is set off by two deep red garnets, reflecting the red colour of the agate beautifully. The sterling silver setting links the three gemstones, flowing between them. The handmade pendant is mounted on an 18 inch (45 cm) diamond cut belcher chain with a carabiner catch. The total weight of the pendant and chain is around 25g.

This handmade pendant measures around 70mm long, and around 26mm at its widest point. Each garnet is 5mm in diameter. It is mounted on an 18 inch (45 cm) diamond cut belcher chain with a carabiner catch.

Agate is a polycrystalline quartz (made up of tiny crystals of quartz), and comes in a huge variety of colours and patterns. It is not one of the officially recognised birthstones, but some people link it to the month of September. Garnet is the birthstone for January. The deep red colour seen in the gemstones used in this piece is the most recognisable colour for garnet, but it is also seen in a range of other colours including purple, orange and green.

All Wise Fig jewellery is hallmarked by London Assay Office.
